NIGHT SHIFT RULES
The Changming Inn sits on the old Qingshan road, forty minutes by car from Lánchéng toward Rust River.
This is your first night shift. The first work order HR sends you reads: read the Night Shift Rules in full; your badge activates only after the comprehension check.
There are twelve rules in the laminate. One is written in a different hand — added later. They do not always agree with each other.

About this game
A warm-toned keyword-retrieval puzzle game. The whole game is one terminal: a search box, four indexes and a dot-matrix printer. Thirteen records are missing a word — the system calls this FIELD_INCOMPLETE. Work the word out, type it in, and the item hands over its full file.

How it works
- Every rule states its own precondition; when it holds, the board marks it in force.
- On the right, a live state board: clock, rain, lift, boiler, room 402, the line, the lunar date. Every ruling rests on it.
- When two rules collide, only one precondition is satisfied at that moment. That one wins.
- A wrong ruling is not replayed: you strike a rule, leave a blank, and sign the date.
